WHO I AM
First and foremost, I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend with a passion for trekking, biking, gardening, playing music, and reading. Professionally, I serve as a psychologist for first responders (e.g., paramedics, police officers, firefighters) and frontline professionals (e.g., physicians, nurses). I am also a national speaker, trainer, and consultant. My work is grounded in compassion, integrity, and excellence, with a practical approach that meets the highest standards of quality and care.
Recognized for my expertise, I appeared on CBC The National, CTV Morning live, CTV News at Noon, and CTV News at Five, and also on Radio-Canada’s Les Matins d'ici, Le Téléjournal and Les Malins. Also, I am currently one of Bell Let's Talk national subject matter experts. Furthermore, in 2018, I was humbled to receive the national Award for Distinguished Contributions to Public or Community Service by the Canadian Psychological Association.
Prior to this, in 2014, I was appointed by the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care of Ontario as one of the 20 members of the Mental Health and Addictions Leadership Advisory Council. Then, in 2018, I was appointed by the Prime Minister of Ontario as one of 14 members on the Premier’s Council on Improving Healthcare and Ending Hallway Medicine in Ontario and in 2020, I was appointed by the Ontario government cabinet as one of 7 members on the French Language Health Services Advisory Council.
Although I am very appreciative of these recognitions and contributions, my focus remains centred on offering the best possible services to my clients, audiences and communities, and promoting overall wellness in our country.
